Who we are
The Waqf Fund is a UK-based charity dedicated to restoring and modernising the Islamic tradition of waqf. We make waqf accessible to all by allowing supporters to pool donations together to invest in lasting halal endowments, using profits to fund charity projects year after year.
We began in 2023 as part of Human Appeal, under the name International British Waqf (IBW). Since then, our work and vision have expanded and we’ve evolved into The Waqf Fund, a name that reflects our heritage and future.
We’re now focused exclusively on building one of the world’s most impactful and transparent Waqf institutions.
