How it works
How does your waqf share provide qurbani around the world?
- You donate a £2,000 share to Qurbani waqf. Whatever sector you choose, we honour that forever. This share costs £2,000 in order to create enough profit in the first year to provide a Qurbani sacrifice.
- We pool your donations with other supporters’ and collectively you purchase in a Sharia-compliant investment, in this case a low-risk property.
- Each year, 80% of profits go towards providing nourishing Qurbani meat. Within your first year, you’ll provide a full Qurbani donation.
- 10% is reinvested into a property to create more income and impact, and 10% is used to maintain your waqf.

Why direct your waqf to Qurbani?
The first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah are the best in the entire year. Set your intention for your Qurbani and reap the rewards of these powerful days.
The blessed month of Dhul Hijjah reminds us of the obedience, and sacrifice of Ibrahim (AS)
After a lifetime of longing for a child, Ibrahim (AS) was asked to sacrifice his beloved son Ismail (AS), for the sake of Allah. But Allah spared Ismail at the last minute, and a ram was sacrificed in his place.
Each year, we honour that sacrifice, continuing this sunnah and provide nourishing meat to vulnerable families, many of whom only get to taste meat once a year.
Dedicate your waqf to Qurbani, spread joy at Eid, and reap the blessings of this obedient act of worship.
A sunnah of the Messenger ﷺ
